Another day, another reminder that Donald Trump is the most absurd and vile presidential candidate in 240 years of American sovereignty.

This one comes to us in the form of shocking new footage obtained by the Washington Post which captures an incredibly lewd conversation between Trump and Access Hollywood host Billy Bush that took place on the set of Days of Our Lives in 2005.

Trump was touring the set in preparation for a cameo on the famous soap – a situation that raises a slew of questions by itself – but we promise that’ll be the last thing on your mind after you watch this footage:

If you’re not in the mood to kick off your weekend by vomiting in your mouth, here are some highlights which may be easier to digest in written form.

Mind you, these are all direct quotes spoken by one of the two major-party candidates for President of the United States:

“I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married.”

“I did try and f–k her. She was married.”

“Just kiss. I don’t even wait,” he added, noting that “when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.”

“Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”

The footage was shot just months after Trump married his third and current wife, Melania Knauss.

Of course, new revelations about the Donald’s long history of objectifying women seem to surface literally every day now.

(Just yesterday we learned of allegations that Trump tried to sleep with Robin Givens while she was married to Mike Tyson.)

Still, this footage is shocking even by Trump standards.

In keeping with his M.O., Trump didn’t wait to consult with his team, and instead issued a response on his own via Twitter:

“This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago,” Trump tweeted.

“Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course – not even close. I apologize if anyone was offended.”

Not surprisingly, many on social media have expressed the opinion that Trump’s comments go far beyond the boundaries of “locker room talk.”

After all, the real estate mogul appears to be boasting about an act of sexual assault.

And by refusing to apologize and attempting to deflect blame onto his opponent’s husband, Trump may have dug himself an even deeper hole.

The timing couldn’t be worse for the Trump campaign which is already ailing following a hellish two weeks.

Most notably, the revelation that Trump lost nearly $1 billion in 1995 and may have gone 18 years without paying any federal income tax has not helped his cause.

Prior to that, Trump turned in what’s been described as a disastrous performance in his first debate with Hillary Clinton, and he made his situation worse the next morning.

That day, and throughout the ensuing week, he continued to engage in a bizarre attack against Venezuelan actress Alicia Machado.

Will any of this affect Trump’s standing in the polls?

Bizarrely, probably not, as his supporters seem to have decisively made up their minds long ago.

On the flip side, he currently trails in the polls, albeit narrowly, and likely needs to expand that base in order to actually win the presidency.

To wit, you can bet that Clinton campaign will happily use this damaging footage as ammo during the candidates’ second debate this Sunday night.
