I'll start a list here and will add to it as suggestions are made: 1. Try meal replacement shakes - I use one from UCN 2. Use a calorie counter app - I use Myfitnesspal 3. Try to replace bad habits with better ones e.g.every time you want a bar of chocolate have a cup of tea instead 4. Use a weight tracking app so you can track progress - always weigh yourself at the same time every day undressed - ideally first thing in the morning after you have been to the toilet 5. Get a personal trainer 6. Find an exercise partner - it's harder to not go to the gym if you have made a commitment to someone else 7. Replace sugar filled drinks with fruit infused water 8. Use sweeteners in your coffee and tea or try to quit them altogether. Can you add any more?
For me I think you need to stick with your goals. In my case that would be for self improvement and for a healthy living. Take it from there and everything will follow. Without focus and determination I think getting fit would be a failure. Discipline is one of the important trait that one must possess too.
Hi, Im a health buff. I agree that discipline is the key. Discipline on what you eat and discipline on your "working out schedule". Eating healthy and good nutrition are also some of the factors in getting fit. Eat fresh and keep yourself hydrated.
Based on experience, getting fit would b a lot of fun if you a have a " getting-fit buddy" that is so focused . There would be someone who will drag you just in case you are having a hard time getting you ass up to slim down.

Less carbo intake. Try to replace Carbo meals like bread and other pastries into a low carbo bread such as ciabatta or wheat bread. Taste as awesome as other breads but lesser carbo content. Oil free diet. Avoid any foods that are fried. If you cant avoid it. Use olive oil or virgin coconut oil. Those are low in saturated fat.
Skipping meals on slimming down is a misconception. If you're trying to lose weight, dont skip meals. It will make you crave more for food. Try a little of everything. Theres a chart that helps you out on your protein and carbo intake. RIght amount of sleep also helps. Study shows that if your sleeping is not enough or too much. This may cause gaining weight.
Yoga has been very helpful to me when it comes to slimming down. Its not just diet and exercise . Yoga lessens your stress hormones . It helps you metabolize faster. It also helps out on firming your arms, thighs and butt.
