The Bachelor is just beginning with its 21st season on ABC.
The magical, journey-ending Final Rose ceremony has already been filmed, however, and customarily, The Bachelor spoilers have already leaked.
Raise your hands if you’re surprised … anyone?! Hello?
No. By this point, The Bachelor spoilers leaking before the season is almost as much of a foregone conclusion as the winners breaking up!
We kid … mostly. But the show’s track record is not great.
Just saying, people. Anyway, back to the lecture at hand:
Nick Viall has finished filming his starring turn as The Bachelor, and we know the outcome well before the final rose is doled out on TV.
After being rejected by Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe on back-to-back The Bachelorette finales, will he finally find love this time?
Oh yes. With Nick in the lead role and doling out the roses, it was finally his time (whether it lasts is another story, but we’ll get to that later).
Anyway, ready to meet Nick’s final four – and the winner?!
1. Rachel Lindsay from Dallas, Texas.
2. Corinne Olympios of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
3. Raven Gates from Hoxie, Arkansas.
4. Vanessa Grimaldi of Montreal, Canada.
Nick goes on hometown dates with these four on the ninth episode of the season. Thanks to Reality Steve, we know how it plays out from there.
Hometown Elimination: Corinne Olympios.
According to Steve, the Oracle of Bachelor and Bachelorette spoilers, insiders were surprised that Corinne made it as far as she did.
Viewers, however, can’t be that shocked, given how Corinne … endeared herself to Nick from the moment the cameras started rolling.
Let’s just say she hasn’t been afraid to use her feminine charms, or “golden vagine” if you will, to get where she wants to get this season.
In any case, Olympios earned herself a hometown date, but hers was the one that didn’t leads to the Fantasy Suite the following week.
For hypersexual Corinne, who likely had a novel-length list of things she wanted to do to Nick in there, that has to be hard to swallow.
Speaking of Olympios, Steve notes, accurately, that Corinne is 100 percent the “villain,” and will be the talk of this season. He’s good.
In any case, she’s out. And then there were three …
In Episode 10, the remaining women travel to Finland, where Nick probably gets naked with all three once the cameras stop rolling.
Sorry again, Corinne. So close, yet so far.
We kid … sort of, about Nick getting his freak on with the ladies he takes on overnight dates. We just know if Liz Sandoz is any indication …
Check out the gallery above. Enough said.
This is Nick Viall we’re talking about, at the end of the day, so it’s fairly likely he’s not opposed to going there with his final trio of girls. At all.
Which makes it all the more awkward (as if it weren’t bad enough even without sex) to send someone home after an intimate evening.
But he does, as there are only two finalists.
Fantasy Suite Elimination: Rachel Lindsay.
Rough. Though for the first time, an African-American contestant made the final four (or three), so that’s a celebration of real diversity.
Or for this show, any. Not only that, but as you surely know by this point, ABC has made Rachel Lindsay The Bachelorette this summer.
Not only is she the first African-American lead in 34 seasons of the franchise, Rachel’s announcement was historic in a different sense.
Due to the timing of the reveal, viewers know she will not get engaged to Nick … before viewers know she will not get engaged to Nick.
Rachel’s hometown date is still to come, and as The Bachelor spoilers indicate, she will make it past that as Corinne gets the heave-ho.
Why make the announcement at this odd time?
“They want to be able to cast guys specifically for her,” says a show insider. “They wanted to have plenty of time to find the perfect guys.”
“It was going to get out anyway that Rachel would be the next Bachelorette, so producers figured they might as well announce it now.”
That way, they make it “official” to “make sure they get the most and best number of applicants” and hype up her hometown date as well.
Interesting indeed. But back to Nick … with Lindsay out, the upcoming finale of The Bachelor will pit Raven Gates against Vanessa Grimaldi.
Who will prevail? Well, the rumors were true:
Nick Viall is engaged to Vanessa Grimaldi!
Weeks ago, we heard that much like Ben Higgins picking Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher taking Jordan Rodgers, this was a sure bet.
Vanessa was his favorite early on, according to the man with all the inside connections, and like Lauren and Jordan, she got the final rose.
Now, of course, we don’t know for sure.
Until it plays out on ABC, we can’t be 100.00 percent positive that the information above is correct. But we would bet heavily that it is.
While the contestants’ romantic futures often fade fast, with a few notable exceptions, The Bachelor spoilers are pretty close to a lock.
So even though Corinne, Rachel and Raven may get more air time, and ABC might pull out a lot of stops to keep you guessing, it’s Vanessa.
Now just because Ms. Grimaldi was Nick’s pick from the start and walks away the winner doesn’t mean there won’t be drama, of course.
You can take it to the bank that ABC promos, tabloids and other fan speculation will hint at various alternate outcomes all winter long.
Does Raven actually win in the end? Nick leave both his finalists hanging? Does he get rejected once again in what would be an epic twist?
No, no, no and no to other hypotheticals as well.
Steve is not “worried about being wrong,” which is a telling sign. Speaking of signs, they don’t look so hot for the winning duo’s future.
The word on this street is that Nick has been bitten by the Hollywood bug, wants to be an actor and model, and is set on moving to L.A.
Doesn’t exactly bode well if you’re Vanessa.
The skeptics out there are no doubt asking how we can be sure they won’t last as a couple before we’ve even seen them as a couple?
We can’t. Nothing is set in stone, obviously.
Let’s just say that the odds are against it for a variety of reasons, most notably the format in general, but also the leading man’s … history.
Despite all the talk that Nick “earned” the job or takes the process seriously, the trappings of fame and finding love on TV are real obstacles.
We wish them well, don’t get us wrong.
But to state the obvious, based on what we know, we aren’t holding our collective breath for the LIVE TV WEDDING EVENT of the year.
What about you, Bachelor Nation?
Do you think it can possibly last?

Given the show’s track record …
