uits make a man look dapper, dashing or formal. The right suit can change a scruffy guy into someone that will take the bride's breath away. After all, the bride is not the only one who should get some attention on this big day. The important thing to remember is to pick the suit you want, not the one someone else has decided on. In today's fashion world, the groom doesn't have to color-coordinate with the groomsmen or the bridesmaids. If you prefer an electric blue tuxedo coat that has contrasting satin-finish black lapels- go for it! You can go traditional black and liven it up with a color-popping lilac tie. Or wear white, like the bride, with an eye-catching mango cummerbund and bow-tie. Gone are the days when the guy stood in the background while the bride got all of the compliments and glory. Black and white are still alright, when they are paired with the right color accessories and suit styles. There is no need to be dull anymore.

Think of it- grey pin-stripe slacks, a deep purple tuxedo jacket and a grey tie, perfect for an elegant evening wedding, but not a stodgy old-fashioned wedding. This isn't your grandfather's wedding. You could also rock the event with a distinguished silver suit, cut to fit slim, with a 6-button vest. For a more relaxed big day, try a grey suit with black piping along the lapels and pocket slits. Still formal enough for a wedding, but with an easy design for optimal wearing enjoyment. You could go in the middle of the road, not to flashy but not to sedate, with a cobalt blue jacket, white shirt and black pants. The choices are endless
