Remember when there was talk of a forthcoming Drake and Rihanna wedding?

Remember when Drake made all warm-blooded females melt with the way he talked about Rihanna at the MTV Video Music Awards at the end of August?

That was mere weeks ago, but a new report suggests the relationship between these singers is already over.

According to Life & Style, Rihanna has broken up with Drake because the artist has allegedly grown way too close to an Instagram model named Dakota Gonzalez.

Has Drake actually done the deed with her? Have the two danced he horizontal mambo?

Have they had sex?

The report is unclear, as an anonymous source simply tells the tabloid that Rihanna “was furious after [Drake] stayed by [Gonzalez’s] side and showed her off at an afterparty last month in Vegas.”

Why would Drake possibly cheat on his self-described dream girl?

Here’s a photo of Dakota Gonzalez if that helps you make any more sense out of this story:

We agree:

No offense to Gonzalez, but it doesn’t help.

You have seen Rihanna, haven’t you?!?

“When Rihanna isn’t at Drake’s concerts Dakota is often there by his side,” the insider claims. “It makes Rihanna furious. Rihanna was getting used to being Drake’s one and only.”

When Rihanna learned of Gonzalez, she had an “absolute breakdown,” the magazine writes, adding that the stars engaged in  “blowout fight” and Rihanna “immediately told Drake that it’s over.”

No word yet from either side regarding this split, likely because it isn’t true.

Right? Do you think the romance is over already?

Just think back to the aforementioned MTV Video Music Awards, after all.

Drake got up on stage in front of millions at home and presented Rihanna with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award … and he did so in the most precious possible way possible.

“She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old,” Drake said at the time.

And he wasn’t nearly done gushing…

“She’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I’ve looked up to her, even though she’s younger than me.

“She’s a living, breathing legend in our industry. Ladies and gentleman, the recipient of the 2016 Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, Rihanna.”

Here. Just watch the speech for yourself:

So… just a few weeks after saying all these nice things and finally getting into a relationship with one of the best looking women on the planet, Drake is going to risk all of that for some random Instagram model?

(No offense, Dakota Gonzalez.)

We aren’t buying it. Something smells fishy.

Until we hear otherwise, we are going to go on believing that Drake and Rihanna are together and in love and are gonna have, like, a million babies together.
