Rosie O’Donnell is officially engaged in the ugliest family feud of the summer.

And maybe the ugliest family feud of all-time.

On Tuesday, O’Donnell’s daughter, Chelsea, announced that she was pregnant with her first child.

This was a cause for celebration, but also a cause for a warning, as Chelsea made it clear that her mother won’t play any role in the pending baby’s universe.

“Rosie will not be in my child’s life,” Chelsea told The Daily Mail, emphasizing for good measure: “No, I do not feel sad about that to be honest.”

Chelsea was adopted by O’Donnell (and her first wife, Kelli Carpenter, with whom Chelsea remains close) when she was a baby and added that she’s nine weeks pregnant.

Back in the summer of 2015, O’Donnell Tweeted that her then-17-year old daughter had run away from home.

Chelsea was tracked down two weeks later with a man she reportedly met via Tinder.

Shortly after turning 18, Chelsea moved in with her birth mother and has wanted very little to do with Rosie.

Now, following the confirmation of her child’s pregnancy and the scathing words aimed in her direction, the former talk show host has fired back. HARD.

In a series of late-night Tweets, Rosie SLAMMED Chelsea, claiming she’s exploiting the recent suicide of O’Donnell’s ex-wife, Michelle Rounds, for money.

“we have been here before Chelsea u wanna go a few rounds in public seems so,” O’Donnell Tweeted, adding:

“Michelle’s death = money 4 Chelsea.”

It’s unclear just what O’Donnell means by this. It’s unclear how she thinks her adopted daughter is exploiting the memory of her late wife.

But Rosie laid into Chelsea via other mean-spirited Tweets as well.

In a collage of image, the mother of five Tweeted:

“loving people doesn’t save them- sometimes love has no say.”

She also shared a photo of Chelsea in front of a computer, bringing up an ugly allegation from the past and writing:

“did u hate me this day? last year – at the apple store – was this b4 nick was arrested for beating u up? same same.”

We don’t know much about Chelsea’s relationship with her husband, that’s for sure.

In 2016, though, she met Nick at a Dunkin Donuts and they got married three months later.

“I don’t have her # – no contact since … jan …” Rosie also Tweeted of her daughter last night, adding: “

“a reporter called her – and then paid her – AGAIN.”

For her part, Chelsea says she is excited to become a first-time mother.

“I’m looking forward to it,” she told the Daily Mail. “I really don’t care if I have a boy or a girl. I’m just hoping for a healthy baby.”
